Sara Hermann is dedicated to promoting positive mental health for the youth. At the age of 32, a life changing event led her to finally fulfill her goal of going to college. Sara graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. After a few years, she decided education was where she needed to be and earned an Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology from Ottawa University. 

Sara was a school psychologist for Apache Junction USD for several years before being hired on with Payson. Sara LOVES the mountains! She and her husband, Karl, spend almost every weekend exploring new trails, Karl mountain biking and Sara running. Sara has run the Grand Canyon rim-to-rim three times. “The fresh mountain air is good for the psyche”.

Sara has four adult children, 3 grandchildren, and 2 bougie cats.
