Karen Rice has been with PUSD since August 2020. She initially started at the District Office, and after a couple of years at RCMS, Karen returned to the District Office as the PUSD Central Registrar. Her great understanding of the students in our district makes her role even more seamless. Witnessing students learn and grow over the years is an incredible experience, especially when receiving expressions of gratitude like "thank you, Mrs. Rice." Karen is married with two daughters and two stepchildren, all of whom have grown up in this town and are now in their twenties. Her hobbies include spending time with family, engaging in DIY projects, attending concerts, kayaking, and visiting Alaska as often as possible, as it is where she grew up and still has family residing there.
